
Zafir A. Rashid (Zaf) – CEO, Managing Partner
Mr. Rashid has over 15 years of real estate and management experience. Zafir has been building homes since before the inception of the Everest Group, and has built in excess of 225 homes. An entrepreneur at heart, Zafir has successfully taken his development company from the business of home building to land development and hotel construction. Under Zafir’s guidance, Everest Development Group has completed 3 subdivisions, one of which included home construction as well as services and infrastructure. In addition to servicing subdivisions, Zafir has led Everest to complete the construction of 5 hotels, 3 condominium complexes and a multitude of condominium conversions. A true leader, Zafir has an eye for property with strong untapped potential and an eye for the skills he needs around the table to make his projects a success. Zafir studied Economics at the U of A and completed Project Management and Business Management programs at NAIT.

Harpeet (Haris) Thiara – President, Managing Partner
Mr. Thiara has initiated and supervised many land development projects in Manitoba and Alberta and managed several residential and commercial properties. He has managed the construction of new spec. homes and is experienced in contract negotiations with various trades in the home construction industry including consulting with engineers, building contractors and major suppliers of building materials. He has a sound understanding of the mortgage business including prerequisite conditions for construction draws and inspection of real estate in progress. Mr. Thiara studied Economics at the University of Alberta; and since 1999 has studied and practiced project management, business management and marketing.

Ashwin Krishna – Business Development Manager (Edmonton)
Mr. Krishna has over 10 years experience in the field of real estate in Canada. His experience and responsibilities have included evaluating, negotiating and closing proposed real estate transactions under consideration for investment; as well as hands-on familiarity in undivided interest and lot programs for current and past companies, for which he was employed. For the past 10 years, he has contributed to Edmonton’s real estate growth and his own personal success by managing executive sales teams and directing teams of agents to carry out sales on various real estate programs. Mr. Krishna has been responsible for structuring equity investment opportunities for multifamily properties, MICs, limited partnerships and residential real estate throughout Alberta. He is also responsible for maintaining current relationships and managing the process of creating new relationships with investment sales firms, developers, clients and construction engineering firms. He also participates in development and real estate consultation, conflict negotiation, agent and team management and recruiting, client sourcing, sales training including guidance, motivation and sales related advice and assistance, client questions, concerns and opposition, questions and concerns in regards to transaction closing as well as hosting presentations and presentation training for real estate products. From 2006 to December, 2009, Mr. Krishna served as the Senior Vice President of Sales for a prominent Alberta development and investment company; and was a key player in raising capital for a successful Mortgage Investment Corporation.

Khandai (Sam) Boodhoo – Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer of the issuer, Mr. Boodhoo is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience as business and tax advisor, consultant and accountant for a number of medium-sized corporations. Worked as Manager in the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta with responsibility for the audit of the General Revenue Fund and many major government departments. Mr. Boodhoo managed his professional accounting practice for the past 20 years. In the last 5 years performed contract work as a senior consultant with Robert Half Management Consultants and David Aplin & Associates. On these assignments he reviewed the operations of many public corporations for design and compliance with the control requirement and compliance with secondary market liability control processes (i.e. Ontario Bill 198) and/or Sarbannes-Oxley Act (USA). Project manager for year end audits of large public companies. Obtained Bachelor of Commerce with majors in accounting and marketing from the University of Montreal. Obtained post-graduate Diploma in Public Accounting from McGill University.
